Semen Gresik's Rumah BUMN Rembang Holds Digital Marketing Training to Support the 30,000 MSMEs Go Digital Program
Rembang, September 26, 2022 - PT Semen Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (SIG) and PT Semen Gresik (SG), in synergy with the Ministry of SOEs, facilitated Rumah BUMN (RB) Rembang in organizing the 30,000 MSMEs of SOEs Go Online training program on Monday, September 26, 2022, at Raflesia Ballroom Fave Hotel, Rembang.
The training initiated by the Ministry of SOEs was broadcast online and attended in person (offline) by 227 MSMEs fostered by the RB BUMN Rembang.
The CEO of Rumah BUMN Rembang, Yeni Indah Lestari, explained that PTSG's commitment to empowering MSMEs to go digital is expected to improve the literacy level of MSMEs in digital commerce. As a result, they can diversify marketing channels for SME products to increase their income and competitiveness.
"In the current digitalization era, market competition is getting tighter and broader. We must apply digital modernization to support the progress and competitiveness of the fostered MSMEs at the national and international levels," said Lestari in her press statement (26/9).
Lestari continued that a high level of enthusiasm was evident among the MSME actors during the workshop. This implied the MSME actors' interest to upgrade the products they sold.
"RB Rembang itself has succeeded in recording a total sales of IDR 1.97 billion and upgrading more than 104 MSMEs ever since its establishment two years ago. Furthermore, RB Rembang also unlocked a remarkable achievement by sending dozens of MSME Rembang's products to go international and displaying them in Tong Tong Fair in Den Haag, Netherland," Lestari emphasized.
Meanwhile, according to Zaki, a workshop participant from Sulang Subdistrict, this workshop was avidly awaited by the local MSME actors in Rembang District.
"We gained a lot of knowledge and relations from this workshop. We hope this kind of inspiring program could be held more frequently. Also, we appreciate RB Rembang for continually assisting and supporting fostered MSMEs in upgrading themselves," Zaki concluded (26/9).
